Ultimately, she exposes the conspiracy between her father and her uncle Damian, avenges her mother, and ensures that all the perpetrators face justice within the legal framework. As for Adrian, his initial motivation for marrying—to locate a financial ledger and protect a witness—evolves over time into a complete surrender of his defenses, as he learns to love someone with respect and patience.
